UK-based M-Sport World Rally Team has just unveiled its 2016 WRC livery.

Said to build on M-Sport’s eye-catching 2015 livery, the latest evolution incorporates Ford’s Nitrous Blue rather than White as the core colour on the Fiesta RS WRC.

M-Sport’s 2015 look was voted the best looking of the ‘manufacturer’ entries in the 2015 WRC, as per a poll conducted by WRC Promoter. The Fiesta took 34 per cent of the vote.

We will see the 2016 livery for the first time at the Monte Carlo Rally, the traditional introduction to a World Rally Championship season. The new M-Sport driver pairing of Mads Ostberg (returning to the team after a two-year stint with Citroen) and newcomer Eric Camilli will be behind the wheel of the Fiesta RS WRCs in the premier category, while former WRC-level driver Elfyn Evans will pilot M-Sport’s latest-spec Fiesta R5 in the WRC2 category, with the same livery.

Additional M-Sport-supported WRC entries include a DMACK Fiesta RS WRC for Ott Tanak (another former ‘factory’ M-Sport driver), previous Formula One star Robert Kubica and tarmac specialist Bryan Bouffier.

The ‘Monte’ starts on 21 January.
