It’s no lie, we’re really looking forward to the upcoming Audi RS3, due for its unveil at the Geneva Motor Show in March. This video of the German uber wagon tearing up the snow, in slow motion no less, should tantalise the car buds.

At around 260kW, we expect the revised turbocharged 2.5-litre five-cylinder to make only the sound a fiver can. And if the video is anything to go by, it will be a whole lot of fun (if only we had more snow down here).

Audi has engaged the Haldex quattro drive system for the Audi RS3, controlled via a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission. A variety of drive modes will allow the driver to flip between powering all wheels equally or transferring up to 100 per cent of torque to the rears. The total sum of this in application will be, as Audi says, for ‘performing controlled drifts’.
